Despite being on my goal list for the past 5 years….the annual Twinsburg Twins Days Festival did not want me to attend….  

Year after year, my plans to make it to this event have been halted due to untimely obligations. This year proved no different, as an out of town wedding swept me away during most of this years festivities….Still, I held out hope that Sunday would prevail…. 

And though I managed to arrive back in Cleveland by Sunday afternoon, I couldn’t help but acknowledge tornado like cloud cover that hoovered over the city.  

I had a choice to make… I could stay at home and catch up on my correspondences, or I could find a crazy to come with me…   

Little convincing it took for my friend Julie to jump on board…we were about to brave this storm! 

Armored with a poncho and waterproof windbreaker we set out on the 40 minute venture toward Twinsburg…

After paying $3 for event parking, we were transported via golf cart to the gateway entrance… 

We were pumped to see that the rain failed to keep those doubles away… 

A mere $4 more, and we were about to embark upon history in the making… Twins Day 2012 here we come… a sense of accomplishment had swept over me… 

As we passed through the entryway gate I quickly realized that this event would not let me down…  it was as amazing as I had envisioned… Young and old, chubby and thin… they were vast in appearance…..they were twins as far as the eye could see… 

So many random group photo ops that I managed to creep on……

And finally… the grand finale.. the annual Twins Days Group Photo… 

What a memory… what a joy… what an amazing goal to finally accomplish!
