While attempting to accomplish my wintertime goal of seeking my way to various Cleveland Latte’s, I set out to Tremont to visit Civilization.  As I was leaving the local coffee shop I unexpectedly drove past an amazing little building that caught my eye… why I had unknowingly stumbled upon Visible Voice Books…

Having initially heard of the independent book store when it made national news for kicking off the “Cash Mob Movement”, a trend that has grown to national proportions, (Click HERE to read story), I had been wanting to give this place a visit…. Little did I know that Visible Voice Books was far more than a book store, it was also a wine bar… a wine bar with an amazing little garden courtyard.  Oh… how this quickly rose to the top of my summertime goal list…

“Lucky” for me, Nick just so happened to be in an accommodating mood and was more than willing to head over to Tremont to take advantage of an outdoor nightcap.  It wasn’t until we arrived that we realized we were stumbling upon the  ”The Lucky Ones” CD release party…a local band with some banjo-playing. folk singing members…. (I hadn’t been this excited since stumbling onto a midnight jam band session on the streets of New Orleans.) 

What an absolute gem of an evening…. the epitome of a perfect summertime night…

Visible Voice Books… I will for sure be bringing my next out of town guests for a visit.
