The last time I walked my way down the Superior Viaduct, Ponte Vecchio was still serving…  jealousy as I walked by those wealthy dining patrons who were able to sit outside and soak in the best cityscape dining that Cleveland has to offer….

So, when I heard that Ponte Vecchio had closed its doors, and learned that a new restaurant was acquiring the space, I was intrigued to learn about the new restaurant but also assumed that a similar high-roller dining experience would be offered.  

Lucky for me, I learned that the new Viaduct Lounge offered one incredibly reasonably priced happy hour.  Patrons visiting Tuesday to Saturday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 to midnight can discount dine on select food and drink specials…(Click HERE to see menu)  *And though I anticipated having to sit bar side to take advantage of this deal, I was overjoyed when my party was told we could take advantage of the fare on the Viaduct…  

$12 bought me the following:

• House Cheeseburger and Fries $6.50
• House Red $5
• Superior Viaduct Parking $Free for patrons… who knew!

Overall, I had a lovely outdoor dining experience and the opportunity to take advantage of some great photo opps!
