When I stumbled upon a Cleveland.com article highlighting a weekly improv session put on by the Angry Ladies of Improv at Sullivan’s Irish Pub I knew I had to get there….

Being that Sullivan’s is mere blocks away from my Lakewood rental, I couldn’t possibly pass up the opportunity to check out this free laughter session taking place Tuesday evenings at 8:00 p.m.    What great motivation to leave the house…especially during these summertime months when I can take the opportunity to arrive early and drink on the great outdoor patio… 

And that’s just what I did…. 

Upon my arrival I was happy to see a variety of discounted drinks available for purchase… While the rest of my party opted for cheap beer I went with the discounted wine ($4)….

After enjoying my first glass patio side, I moved it indoors, purchased a second, and sipped it while watching a small group of brave souls act out a series of impromptu skits during this Cleveland Improv Jam.  

Though myself, as well as the majority of the 20 or so onlookers were well aware of the venue’s evening festivities, it was clear that not all who entered the establishment were anticipating dining beside such a lively bunch…

That being said… if you’re looking for a cheap, unpredictable way to enjoy the evening, I’d recommend stopping on bye….  If you’re looking for a peaceful Tuesday evening Lakewood dining experience I’d say bypass entry between the hours of 8:00 to 10:00 p.m.
