For the last 54 years, Lyndhurst Ohio’s adorable Manolio couple has created and presented Eggshelland.…an artistic display of over 38,000 enameled eggs viewable during the week of Easter… 

Here I am at Eggshelland in 2011… I fell in love…so much so that I purchased two eggs….

The other got injured during a cubicle move… Look how lonely and lopsided this little guy now stands… 

I was really excited to visit Eggshelland this year.. thought that I might even shell out the $0.50 for a new egg… 

This year’s Masterpiece included The Muppets, Statler & Waldorf and Mario & Luigi…and you better believe that I was not the only passerby…non stop cars turning onto this culdesac…families and children galore…. *Even the Ice Cream truck found a permanent parking spot during my visit…

And though I did have the opportunity to purchase a new egg… I was afraid of a secondary catstrophee, as I had no security blanket and a long ride back to my parents house…. Maybe next year egg… maybe next year….
